Entry of foreign nationals into BiH and refusal of entry

The Ministry of Security BiH and the CPRC successfully completed the training "Entry of Foreign Citizens in BiH and Reasons for Rejection of Entry" on November 22, 2018, in Sarajevo. The discussed aspects were legal solutions from the Law on Foreigners of BiH and the Law on Asylum of BiH about Entry Procedures, concerning the entry of foreign nationals in BiH, the reasons for refusing entry into BiH and the way of declaring refusal of entry.

Acceptance and integration of BiH citizens on the basis of a readmission agreement

Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) has a number of concluded readmission agreements as well as bilateral agreements with non-EU countries for the acceptance of BiH citizens from European and other countries. In order to ensure efficient acceptance, solving the disputed issues during the verification of identity and citizenship as well as compliance with the time limits, the Ministry of Security of BiH and the CPRC, during the period from 29th to 30th October 2018, organized a training entitled "Readmission of BiH citizens", in Sarajevo.

XI Professional Counseling of Prosecutors in Bosnia and Herzegovina

XI Professional Counseling of Prosecutors in Bosnia and Herzegovina, was held from 1th to 03 October 2018, in Neum. The CPRC was the co-organizer of the mentioned Counseling, where, within the project “Support to Efficient Migration and Border Management in Bosnia and Herzegovina” supported by Government of Switzerland. Embassy of Switzerland in Bosnia and Herzegovina, organized training (Panel V) entitled "Fight against corruption - modalities and prevention of immigration and asylum abuse." The topic of the Panel was fight against corruption, modalities and prevention of immigration and asylum abuse, as well as establishing cooperation between competent institutions in the prevention of various forms of corruption. Participations in Panel were prosecutors from the Prosecutor's Office of BiH, cantonal prosecutors' offices of Una-Sana Canton, Central Bosnia Canton, West Herzegovina Canton, Tuzla Canton, Zenica-Doboj Canton and Canton Sarajevo, and District Prosecutor's Office in Banja Luka, as well as representatives of Border Police of BiH, Service for Foreigners' Affairs of BiH and representatives of the Ministry of Security of BiH - Asylum Sector, Sector for migration and Sector for European Integration and International Cooperation.
