A second Workshop was held for drafting the Action Plan for the prevention of Juvenile Offending and the use of Alternative Measures in the city of East Sarajevo

On 17th April 2015, in order to develop the Action plan for the prevention of juvenile delinquency and the use of alternative measures in the city of East Sarajevo, Criminal Policy Research Centre (CPRC) organized a meeting of the work team of professionals. Work team, formed in systemic response to the problems of children and youth in conflict with the law in the city of East Sarajevo, considered the first version of the Action plan.

Training of Judges and Representatives of other Institutions of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the area of forfeiture of property gained by the perpetration of a criminal offence

Within the project "Strengthening the capacity of law enforcement institutions in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the fight against corruption" Criminal Policy Research Centre (CPRC) has held a second initial training entitled "Training of judges and representatives of other institutions of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the area of forfeiture of property gained by the perpetration of a criminal offence". At the training, in addition to cantonal and municipal judges of Federation BiH, the training was also attended by representatives of the Registry of securities in the Federation of BiH, Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of the Unsko-Sanski Canton, Sarajevo Cantonal Prosecutor's Office, Federal Agency for the management of the assets and the Regional Bar Association Bihac. This project is implemented with the financial support of the British Embassy in BiH - the Office of the Foreign and Commonwealth (FCO).

Visit to Trnovo Municipality within the Project "Justice for Children"

Representatives of the Criminal Policy Research Centre (CPRC), within the project "Justice for Children", on 13.03.2015, visited the municipality of Trnovo and held a working meeting with representatives of local government, municipal services and facilities responsible for the area of child protection. At the meeting, the objectives and importance of the project was presented, and so far implemented and planned activities in order to realize the project.

CPRC has organized training for Prosecutors and Representatives of Law Enforcement Agencies and other Public Institutions of FBiH

Criminal Policy Research Centre (CPRC) with financial support from the British Embassy in BiH - Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO), is implementing a project entitled „Strengthening the capacity of law enforcement institutions in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the fight against corruption". The first project activity was organisation of training under the title: "Training of prosecutors and officers of law enforcement agencies in the Federation of BiH in the area of forfeiture of property gained by the perpetration of a criminal offence" for cantonal prosecutors and representatives of law enforcement agencies and other public institutions in the Federation of BiH (Federal Police Administration, Tax Administration FBiH, Financial Police FBiH, the Federal Attorney's Office, the Securities Commission of the Federation of BiH, etc. .), who have a legal obligation to act in accordance with the provisions of the new legislation (Law on confiscation of illegally acquired property through crime, "Official Gazette of BiH", no. 71/14).

CPRC initiated activities on implementation of ISRD 3 studies in Bosnia and Herzegovina

Criminal Policy Research Centre (CPRC), in partnership with the Institute for Social Research at Faculty of Political Sciences, University of Banja Luka, conducts an International self-report delinquency study - ISRD3, in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The intention is, with the comprehensive survey which is conducted in over 40 countries, to assess the actual scope and structure of predelinquent and delinquent behaviour in children.

Scientific research on human trafficking in Bosnia and Herzegovina

Within the framework of the project "Assistance to the Ministry of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the implementation of the Strategy for combating human trafficking 2013-2015", which is supported by USAID, Criminal Policy Research Centre (CPRC) was, in public procurement procedure, selected to conduct scientific research on the extent and nature of the problem of human trafficking in BiH, including child trafficking, domestic trade and trade of group members who are particularly vulnerable to mentioned phenomena.
